Overview:
Larkin Community Hospital – Palm Springs Campus, is an acute care facility situated on a 15-acre campus that includes a seven-story medical office building. Originally opened in 1965 as Palm Springs General Hospital, it was acquired in 2016 by Larkin Health System for $40 million and rebranded under the Larkin name. The hospital functions as a teaching facility offering postgraduate residency programs in 23 medical specialties, including a family medicine residency. It is equipped with a 24-hour emergency department and a designated Primary Stroke Center.
3FM Consulting was contracted in 2025 to provide construction documents for the replacement of a critical piece of HVAC equipment in the surgery department. The scope of work included detailed verification of existing conditions and careful review of record drawings. The team worked closely with the construction team in this design/build endeavor.
