Miami-Dade Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center is a minimum-security adult facility in Miami Dade County, Florida. This facility has been operational since 1994. With a 1300-bed capacity, on average TGK receives about 2773 bookings yearly. This Adult facility hosts inmates from all of Dade County under the governorship of the Florida Sherriff.

3FM consulting is assisting with replacing and upgrading the emergency power distribution systems. Electrical work included normal power distribution and emergency system design. The work requires close coordination with Florida Power and Lighting company and Miami Dade County Internal Services Division. The project consists of replacing emergency generators, switchgear equipment, paralleling gear, distribution panels and bus duct raceways. Careful coordination and arc flash studies have been performed using industry leading software. The team reviewed and prepared hundreds of pages of technical specifications and issued a well-coordinated set of construction documents.
